A very wet and cold April! Low pressure persisted throughout the month giving much needed rain.

Two very dry months. March was warm, particularly at the end. The air pressure remained high for two months which is exceptional.
So much for my wetter and windy winter. The Atlantic flow is still very weak.

Last year was dry and mild. The talk of it being the second warmest year on record is certainly not the case for Bristol. It was mild at 11.2 but six
of the other years this milenium have been warmer.

This autumn the weather has returned to a more normal paturn with atlantic lows crossing the UK and the trade winds
returning to a more SW flow. This would suggest a wetter and windy winter but mild with less snow...We shall see!
