Average temperatures for Bristol for

1 May 2009
Well temperatures are returninb to normal levels after the cold start but we are now experiencing a series of dry month. What will be next!
1 February 2009
What a start to 2009, the coldest temperature was -7c on the 6th which was the coldest night since 1991. January was the coldest month overall since January 1997. This supports my view that global warming has stopped in the UK since around 1997.
1 January 2009
2008 was cooler than in recent years and even cooler than 2007. This supports my view that after a spell of warming from 1980 to 2000 the trend has then been level. 2008 was also wet again with a similiar level of rain to 2007.
1 January 2008
2007 was a wet year. Only two years had higher rainfall in the last twenty. It was also a cooler year with average temperatures the lowest since 2001.
